As I said I typically focus on things that improve gameplay such as new landmasses to explore and new quests to undertake. Too many folks in the PC space focus on Anime hair and body mods to make every character look like a supermodel. Now don't get me wrong I also use body replacement mods, just I don't try to turn my females in to barbie dolls in minimal armor that is completely unsuitable for actual combat.

I have a strong inclination for mods that despite the limitations of the vanilla combat experience and leveling mechanics to work around that and improve it. There is stuff like Falskaar, Wyrmstooth, Undeath, Helgen Reborn, etc Gameplay expansions, major quest additions, stuff that just builds on top of the existing world or expands it, A few of these are unfortunately not on Xbox either.

Then there is iNeed, Frostfall, and Hunterborn. You have all of these animals and game present in the game as well as being able to grow crops and cook food and they don't really amount to much in the vanilla experience. Frostfall requires you to be prepared for the elements such as rain, snow, and freezing weather. Hunterborn allows you to hunt animals, skin their pelts, carve the meat which ties back into the loop of iNeed to feed yourself, and Frostfall to create your own fur capes and cloaks to keep warm.
